Fairway. Green. What happens next?
Have you ever noticed that when a Tour player is streaking away at the top, those mid-range putts look easy? That CAN happen with your own rounds…

The Olympics are taking place in Paris this week, and while we love watching golf on tour, you’ve got to admire all the sheer athleticism on display at the Olympic Games.
In the 2020 Olympics held in Tokyo, Americans Xander Schauffele and Nelly Korda both claimed Olympic Gold Medals in the men’s and women’s Golf Individual events, and golf is of course returning to the Olympics for this year too.
The Men’s golf event takes place from the 1st – 4th of August, with the women’s golf taking place on the following weekend from the 7th – 10th August.
There are dozens of world-class golfers you could put forward to represent their countries in the Olympics, but there’s a specific qualifying process in place to allocate athletes.
As you can expect, qualifying to compete in golf at the Olympics is determined by ranking. The golf qualifying at this year’s Games is limited to 60 men’s and 60 women’s players as dictated by the Official World Golf Rankings.
The top 15 male and female players via World Rankings are eligible to compete, with up to a max of four players from a single country. After the top 15, the Olympic golf rankings consist of the top two eligible for each country following the world golf rankings.
As you can expect, there’s going to be some world-class talent competing for their countries. The American line up consists of Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Wyndham Clark, Nelly Korda, and Lilia Vu. Representing Great Britain are Tommy Fleetwood, Matt Fitzpatrick, Charley Hull, and Georgia Hall.
Being one of the best players in the world and representing your country must be such a thrill! But no matter your ability, if you’re playing with substandard equipment, you’re not going to be reaching your potential.
Wilson makes exceptional golf clubs, and the ones we currently have in the pro shop are at the very cutting edge of modern putter tech. Without a solid golf putter in the bag, you could be falling short of scoring when it matters on the greens. Wilson has engineered the clubs in the Infinite range to give you the most out of your short game and have you feeling on top of the world.
Each club in the Infinite range boasts a glossy black finish that looks fantastic when you’re standing at address, and contrasts pleasantly with a white golf ball. On the top of the head, you’ll find a thick middle alignment line with support lines on either side, giving you an excellent view of the line you need. The club also features a two-tone PVD anti-glare coating.
The face on each putter in the set has undergone a double-milling process that ensures your strikes will have a consistent roll, so you find just the distance you’re looking for when you make ideal contact with the ball. There are eight unique putters available in the Infinite range, from blade style clubheads to circular mid-mallets.
Another fantastic putter offering from Wilson, the Staff Model putters are a sleek chrome, and feel just as sleek as they look. With a precision-milled stainless-steel construction, this club offers a buttery-smooth sensation as you strike through the ball.
Wilson has focused on creating a club that feels consistently stable as you take it back and forth through your stroke. With the Staff Model putter in-hand, you’ll be making it closer to the hole on those longer putts. There are four distinct models in the Staff Model range.
Wilson makes exceptional golf putters, and we’re sure to have one in the pro shop just right for your golf game. If you’re thinking of adding a new putter to the bag but don’t know where to start, we’d be happy to offer you our expert advice.
